GovComms | EP#159: The Evolving Communication Profession and Human-Centred Approach to A.I.
In this episode of the GovComms Podcast, host David Pembroke welcomes back Jennifer Muir, a communication professional with over 25 years of experience in the not-for-profit, government, social impact, and civil society sectors.
Jennifer, who has recently been appointed to the Global Alliance board for Public Relations and Communication Management, shares insights into the Global Alliance's mission and her role in leading international collaborations and community connections across the Asia-Pacific region. Her discussion emphasises the rapid growth of the communication profession in Asia and the need for aligning professional standards globally.
The conversation also discusses the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on the communications field. Jennifer highlights the importance of a human-centered approach to AI, urging communication professionals to understand and responsibly use AI tools. She discusses the slower adoption of AI in government due to regulatory and privacy concerns, contrasting it with the faster-paced technology advancements in the private sector.
Jennifer also shares information about the upcoming World PR Conference (WPRF) in Bali in November 2024, a great opportunity for communicators for professional growth and networking opportunities. More information about this conference can be found at: www.globalalliancepr.org/wprf

    Citizens last might be a better title. All of the Robodebt 'villians' named in the Royal Commission report must not only resign from public service immediately but be stripped of their honours. The mendacity and pig-headed persecution of innocent citizens by those named in the Royal Commission's report - who allegedly knew the scheme was illegal and designed to be cruel to it's core to demonise innocent citizens of this country, is simply despicable.

    Kathryn Campbell has shown herself to be a greedy, heartless, evasive and disgusting person at the ROBODEBT inquiry. She should be stripped of her sickening honours and disgraced. ATM she has her greedy nose into the canberra trough of TAXPAYERS money to the tune of $1,000,000 per year!!! as an advisor to AUKUS. GET RID OF HER!!!

    Adamson - laughs along with Campbell on Eobodebt at IPAA. How egregious is Adamson? Back in 2020, the Institute of Public Administration Australia, held a forum in Canberra, which was chaired by Ms. Frances Adamson AC, who is now the Governor of South Australia. ua-cam.com/video/B-Bty8WbLVY/v-deo.html At 15:41, Adamson, is seen AC laughing about Robodebt jokes by Campbell as she sits in the front row of the audience. At the end of the session, Adamson praises Campbell’s presentation: • promotion of trust in the public service • reminded of purpose of the public service • the professionalism in public administration Adamson is unfit to hold vice-regal office.

    • @DiskiDomain
      @DiskiDomain 6 років тому

      You could get a ALOT from 1k facebook ads. Splitting them up and testing on different audiences would be very possible with 1k. Just depends what market you aiming at. It's so powerful how can you target the audience you want. Try it...it's worth it.

      He's using power editor to run the ad. The video came out in 2015, it's obviously an older version of the platform before FB updated it. Dark Posts are now called Page Posts and there isn't a need to use power editor unless you're running a large scale campaign. contentgrouptv probably time to update this video
